This is where we will accumulate recipes for all the dishes that mom used to make- these dishes are Chinese and Lao geared toward an American palate & with ingredients available at American supermarkets with some supplementation from local Asian markets.

The bulk of the recipes came from an engagement gift from my mom to us. Some are from my memory or other collected recipes, others are variations gathered from grandma, my patients, and uncle George (tod mun is a standout).

Scroll all the way to the bottom for an index of recipe pages that are more or less complete. Also, we are starting a "Cooking School" page called Chu's Kitchen that will have many recipes listed in order of complexity/difficulty.
